Privacy policy
This page describes which data are collected when you visit ateneolibertario.it, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian data protection law.
This English version is provided for convenience: in case of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.
Data controller
Ateneo Libertario di Venezia Marghera, c/o Ateneo degli Imperfetti, via Bottenigo 209, Marghera (Venice), Italy.
For any request regarding the processing of your data, write to: [email protected].
Data collected while browsing
This is a static website and it sets no profiling cookies and no third-party cookies. The only personal data collected are those you voluntarily enter in the activity registration forms and in the newsletter subscription form (see below).
Activity registration and newsletter
Registration for workshops and other events and subscription to the newsletter take place through forms embedded in the pages of this website. We collect the data you enter voluntarily (usually your name, email address and any other information requested by the form) in order to:
- organise the activity you register for (for example, to know how many people to expect and to let you know about any changes);
- send you the newsletter, if you subscribe.
We do not use these data for profiling or advertising and we do not share them with third parties.
The forms are provided by Tally, a service of Tally B.V., based in Ghent, Belgium (European Union), acting as data processor under Article 28 GDPR (Tally’s privacy information). The newsletter is sent with Sendy, software installed on a server managed on behalf of the Ateneo.
We keep registration data for as long as needed for the activity, and newsletter data for as long as you remain subscribed: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or ask for your data to be deleted completely by writing to [email protected].
Site search
The site search (the Search page) runs entirely in your browser: your search terms are not sent to any server and are not recorded.
Visitor statistics
To know the approximate number of visitors we use Plausible Analytics, a self-hosted analytics system. Plausible is designed to respect privacy: it uses no cookies, does not track individual visitors and collects no personal data.
The aggregate data (pages viewed, country, device, referring site) do not allow anyone to be identified. The public statistics are available through the Statistics link in the footer.
Content delivery network (CDN)
The site is delivered through the Cloudflare network, which may set some strictly necessary cookies (for example __cf_bm) for security and bot protection. These cookies are exempt from consent under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
Cloudflare’s privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
Map
The Contact page shows an OpenStreetMap map: when it is displayed, your browser downloads the map images from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which therefore receive your IP address. The map sets no profiling cookies. Privacy policy: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitLab Pages. GitLab may keep technical logs (IP address, user agent) to manage its infrastructure. More information: about.gitlab.com/privacy/.
Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. To do so, write to [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the law or in the services used by the site. Last revised: October 2026.
